
The tantalizing sense of possibility that lies in the fresh year ahead is intoxicating and it’s easy to get swept away by that warm and fuzzy feeling when setting your goals.

It was a year choc-full of love, celebration and joy on the wedding front. Every single celebration that I had the privilege of photographing moved me and made my heart flutter. I only wish I could share all of my favourite Toronto wedding photography moments with you, but alas this small sampling will have to do for now.
In case you didn’t know it, Toronto is home to an insane amount of fashion talent! From designers, to fashion bloggers, models and boutiques, this is a metropolis that is buzzing with style gurus and inspirational icons. This year I had the tremendous pleasure of working with numerous talented fashionistas and above are a few of my favourite 2016 fashion photography moments. (A lot of what I shot this year is on deck for publication/debut next year, so I am unable to share those right now. But hopefully you enjoy this roundup of fashion captures!) 
I have this personal motto that translates really well into my professional life — “You regret the photos that you don’t take.” Personally, I have deeply regret not having more photographs of myself and my family life when I was a teenager. This was before the time of selfies and cell phones and during that awkward time of life where you avoid your own reflection as much as possible. So whenever a family contacts me for a family session and I genuinely thrilled! 
Engagement sessions are wonderful. Purely and simply wonderful, because they are an opportunity to capture a couple in love being themselves. This year I had the incredible experience of working with numerous lovebirds and creating just as many unique Toronto engagement sessions to suit a wide range of styles. We explored forests, we lingered in coffee shops, we danced as if no one was watching, we staked out a replica Ghostbusters car, we hid away in bookstores, we took long meandering walks by the lake — I even hid in the bushes (literally) to capture a surprise proposal! Above are just a few of my favourite engagement moments from 2016. How I wish I could share them all, but I’m afraid that if I did my heart would explore.
Working with 
There is a buzzword floating around at the moment on throw pillows, coffee mugs, notebooks and tote bags, and that word is ‘hustle.’ However, being told to simply ‘hustle’ as a piece of advice for success can be overwhelming. So today I would like to offer a few personal tips to help answer the burning question, “How exactly do I hustle to help my business succeed?”
